The Ohio Academic Competition
2002

The purpose of this competition is to encourage higher order thinking, recognize outstanding achievement, and promote academic excellence among participating high school students.

Begun in 1985, the competition is now organized into six regional sites. At each site, the Champion and Runner-Up qualify for the state competition. The State Champion qualifies for national competition.

In the past fifteen years, participation has grown from 20 to 90 high schools at the state level.  Because of this tremendous growth, your help is needed to provide a quality tournament.

We welcome your input and assistance at the Regional Sites.
