The Steering Committee welcomed four new members:  Donna Abend (SE), Joe Bellas (SW), Lynn  Stevenson (SE), and Mary Truax (NE).

Actions approved:

• Dates for regional and state tournament set.
• State format reverted to earlier format. (Rule E-1)
• Question format amended. (Rules A-3, J-1, J-3, J-5)
• Time-out rule adopted. (E-6)
• Sanction approved for non-attendance at State Tournament. (VII-13)

Actions defeated:

• Substitution rule defeated.

Actions tabled:

• Establishment of sixth region to be decided at later date.
• Contract recommended for website maintenance.
